Employer Brand Specialist

The work often dictated where people lived, but this is no longer the case, which makes attracting talent and maintaining company culture a new problem to be solved.

The role

In this role, you will champion Entersekt as an employer of choice to existing employees and prospective hires by building a strong brand in the tech space.

To do this, you will work closely with the marketing and engineering teams, the talent acquisition manager, and external parties to develop and deliver innovative and effective employer brand strategies that will help us build a strong and cohesive company culture.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of who we are as an organization, and position us in the market so we attract experienced technical talent
  • Engage with employees and determine Entersekt’s value proposition
  • Understand the market culture, and gather insights from competitors and tech firms to develop creative media campaigns and talent strategies
  • Build personas to identify and attract top technical talent
  • Take responsibility for establishing and monitoring the organization’s social media presence on various employer platforms like the Entersekt careers page on our website, OfferZen, GitHub, and blog sites
  • Develop creative ways to attract prospective employees and identify new recruitment opportunities by bolstering Entersekt’s online presence
  • Write creative and persuasive copy for various social media platforms
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials, including employee videos and testimonials, to strengthen the organization’s employee value proposition
  • Create and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, technology incubators, and tech forums to generate continuous awareness of Entersekt’s employer brand
  • Research what other tech firms and our competitors are doing to help Entersekt stand out from the crowd

Skills and experience

Successful candidates for this role will generally possess the following qualifications and skills: 

  • An HR, industrial psychology or other relevant social sciences qualification with experience in marketing on digital platforms
  • 3–5 years’ experience in the technology industry
  • Strong knowledge of social media communication techniques
  • Strong understanding of brand experience marketing

  • A creative problem solver who can continuously find ways of connecting with employees (prospective and present)
  • Shows initiative in developing innovative ways to solve problems
  • Eager to get immersed a project and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Can independently implement their ideas, following the process from inception to execution and evaluation
