Product Manager

Entersekt is looking for a product manager with digital identity, strong customer authentication (SCA) and identity and access management (IAM) expertise in the financial or digital security sector. The product manager will develop the product strategy and drive the definition and delivery of product releases and will be responsible for the full life-cycle of the product.

The role

The product manager is a member of the product and commercial team and takes primary responsibility for the commercial success of an Entersekt solution in the market. In this role, you will have a strong external focus, engaging with customers, regional teams and industry sources to refine and prioritize the strategic direction of the solution.

In this role, the product manager will drive the integration of Entersekt identity products within the Entersekt portfolio and across product portfolios, incorporating the best solutions in SCA, IAM, and verified login into the Entersekt product suite. You will drive SCA, IAM, and verified login integration initiatives on roadmaps for our enterprise and re-seller clients. This role will require a strong understanding of commercial B2B2C products, and software product delivery and support models.

The product manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic plan for Entersekt solutions. You will work closely with the commercial and marketing team to ensure the product roadmap meets the requirements of the business plan and can be successfully rolled out.


Strategy and research

  • Discover and validate market problems (both for existing and future customers)
  • Seek new market opportunities by leveraging the company’s distinctive competence
  • Analyze the competitive landscape
  • Monitor and incorporate industry innovations
  • Work with key customers, analysts and members of the regional organization to gather requirements for future releases and feedback on current releases.

Developing product requirements and roadmap

  • Research and engage with the wider market to understand industry trends that will impact our solutions
  • Engage with current and future customers to understand their needs and challenges
  • With input from customer engagements, the product leadership team, and other stakeholders, develop a consistent vision and requirements for new product capabilities
  • Build a product roadmap of incremental improvements and iterative development
  • Maintain the product roadmap and represent it for the product internally and externally
  • Define user personas for individual products and features
  • Write and prioritize product requirements and use cases


  • Maintain open lines of communication within the company and with key external stakeholders
  • Compile and distribute regular updates of changes and progress within the solution roadmap
  • Host information sharing sessions, in person and digitally, to disseminate information
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to compile and maintain assets that can be used to engage with clients and sales leads
  • Attend and, where appropriate, present at conferences and seminars relevant to the company strategy and value proposition
  • Provide oversight of strategic, technical, and marketing aspects of the product

Support build processes

  • Ensure that the product owner is given sufficient input to convert roadmap features into user stories that reflect the key outputs, from a customer perspective, by providing feature briefings and user story reviews
  • Contribute to the engineering planning process by providing insights of product strategy and vision to relevant parties
  • Attend relevant scrum ceremonies as a key stakeholder; grooming and sprint review
  • Determine buy/build/partner decisions
  • Conduct high-level technology assessments

Support build and release processes

  • Review release documentation, training material and product guides
  • Approve final marketing and go-to-market plans
  • Assist with RFP and FRI responses
  • Create and maintain the business plan including pricing

Product performance and profitability analysis

  • Develop profitability calculation data relating to the potential or actual success of a proposition using ROI, cost of delay or other modelling tools
  • Perform data analysis in collaboration with the BI team to extract product usage statistics
  • Gather and organize market data research to develop and articulate the positioning and value of a proposition in various possible markets
  • Work with key customers, analysts and members of the regional organization to gather requirements for future releases based on feedback on current releases
  • Happy to travel approximately 20% of work time

Skills & Experience

Successful candidates for the Product Manager role will generally possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in SCA and IAM industries
  • Exposure to different software product development functions (programming, UI design, QA)
  • Experience in sales, account management or other form of direct client engagement
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, business, computer science, or engineering; an MBA is a plus
  • Experience in defining and managing horizontal or vertical software solutions, either through product management or equivalent activities
  • Ideally 3–5 years’ experience with two or more different segments of digital identity solutions
  • Extensive background and knowledge in the IAM industry, marketplace, products and services, particularly related to digital identity
  • Industry relevant certifications (CSPO, CISSP) are a plus
  • Participating or acting as a representative in industry standard or certification bodies related to SCA, IAM or verified login would be beneficial
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Systems engineering and/or requirements management exposure (beneficial)
  • Previous experience in banking, financial or payments systems such as development of a switch or payment channels
  • More than 5 years’ experience in product development
  • Accustomed to working in an international environment involving multiple development sites in various time zones
