Country Manager

The ideal candidate

The country manager for North America and Canada will be responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy this region. The role involves building the go-to-market strategy, executing sales, successfully delivering Entersekt’s products, and developing new business to increase Entersekt’s market penetration. You will concentrate on Entersekt’s primary focus areas of financial insitutions, and healthcare and asset management providers, to form trusted business relationships with key decision makers and influencers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategic plan by studying technological, financial and market opportunities
  • Set and achieve aggressive business growth targets through new business development
  • Act as an evangelist for Entersekt and our products by hosting and participating in industry events, acting as a subject matter expert for media and marketing, reviewing company publications, and participating in professional societies to position Entersekt as a thought leader in the industry
  • Actively engage in sales and commercial activities to grow the business in the region
  • Manage and enable regional sales directors
  • Accomplish territory objectives by formalizing plans, budgets, and metrics, as well as allocating resources, reviewing progress, and responding to the market as required
  • Matching business growth, building the sales team and coordinating activities such as field sales, key account management, and client delivery
  • Ensure a fit-for-purpose offering is identified for the region by recognizing its needs and working with the chief growth officer and product team
  • Collaborate with customers and technology partners to establish Entersekt as a trusted provider, offering feedback to the marketing and product teams on customer perspective
  • Work with prospective clients and customers to understand their procurement processes, timelines, and stakeholders
  • Provide accurate reporting and forecasting at each stage of the selling process
  • Support sales programs to increase pipeline and boost sales

Skills & experience

Successful candidates for this role will generally possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • At minimum, a relevant bachelor's degree; an MBA is preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in the information technology or financial services industry, with proven success in building market presense
  • Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or web services
  • 7+ years’ comprehensive, specialized experience in successfully developing and engaging a top-notch interdisciplinary team
  • Enterprise sales experience is a must have, as is a demonstrated ability in cultivating and managing positive and successful client relationships
  • A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas
  • Access to a local network of executives and influencers in Entersekt’s focus industries
  • A start-up mentaility, with the ability and eagerness to grow a business
  • Willingness and ability to travel
