Entersekt's Secure Browser is an innovative integration of its electronic certificate technology (emCert) and mobile phone browser technology to create a secure method of communication between financial institutions and their clients via the mobile phone.

By integrating Entersekt's electronic certificate (emCert) as the cryptographic access token within the mobile phone's native web browser, the resulting Secure Browser enables mutual authentication of the user's device with the financial institution.

One of the uses of this innovative technology is a micro-VPN: established via the Secure Browser provided within the ITA application, a secure VPN connection is created between the user's phone and the financial institution. This allows financial institutions to provide complete banking on a .mobi site with no modifications.
